Foundation House Activist Retreat Program Application
Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
Retreat dates are determined in coordination with activist teams.
Foundation House, located in back country Greenwich, CT, opens its doors for up to 5 days to established teams of activists and change makers (up to ten residents total), allowing these groups the time and space to be together under one roof to make meaningful progress in these beautiful and inspiring surroundings. Foundation House’s mission as a non profit center for learning is to focus on environmental, community and mental health, food equity and social justice. To that end, we host residencies, workshops, lectures and other meaningful gatherings on these topics. It is our privilege to be able to offer the space for activists and change makers to continue work on these critical causes.
Teams will receive breakfast on their first morning, and dinner the night of arrival provided by Foundation House. As a resident, you have full kitchen access, as well as access to studio space, a wide variety of common areas, and 75 acres of land to explore and enjoy. In exchange for the time, space, and retreat, activist groups should be open to a possible collaboration with Foundation House to introduce their ideas to our community of local impact enthusiasts.
Please note that this application is for non-profit or fiscally sponsored activist groups only, not individuals.
