Time and Location

May 23, 2025, 9:00 AM – 11:30 AM

Foundation House, 124 Old Mill Rd, Greenwich, CT 06831, USA

About the Event

Why aren’t we—collectively—fully facing the climate crisis?

Join an exclusively curated circle of thought leaders to explore why we, as a society, have not fully understood or embraced climate change—and how we can. Foundation House is excited to host its first in a series on Climate & the Mind about how we must shift our collective consciousness about climate change to make meaningful, systemic change.

We’ll hear from Anthony Leiserowitz, Director of the Yale Program on Climate Change Communication, who will share powerful insights from his research, including Global Warming’s Six Americas and Climate Opinion Maps, offering a data-driven look at how people understand and engage with climate issues.

Jeff Gitterman, a leading expert in climate-focused investing, will speak to the emotional and psychological dimensions of climate action—highlighting the importance of adaptation, resilience, and the value of embracing uncertainty in the face of crisis.

Attendees include those in the climate impact and family office field along with other experts who shed light on the nature of climate change and society. The goal is to go deeper into the topic and discuss solutions to help the us gain more awareness of our role with climate change and how to move towards positive action.
