Session II - Carbon Residency's Systemic Climate Transition Funds Presentation:

  • The Carbon Residency, sponsored by The Peace Department and hosted at Foundation House, is developing a repeatable mechanism to design a portfolio of climate solutions for place-based systemic decarbonization, which emphasizes locally-led projects to drive community uplift and blended finance funding. The group will present a new playbook to develop these strategic portfolios and funding structure, presented as Systemic Climate Transition Funds, and validate its core principles with the attendees. The Carbon Residency group is composed of members from Open Earth, Metabolic, and Dark Matter Labs.
